Hi All,
I have got my voucher from Sun and have scheduled the test on dec 19th.
I am planning to start with K and B book which I will get on Nov 8th . Just wanted to know how I should proceed with the mock up tests after reading the book. I had been through the list given in this site.
Should I take any other tests on individual topics before I start taking mock up exams?

Please advice..

HI,
Today I brought the Vochur and Scheduled the exam on NOV 15.
Though I have been using Java quite long time. There are lot of concepts which we may never use.
So better read the concepts, If you could able under stand Java Lang Spec. It is best and then take the mock test.
After each mock test, understand the Objects which you are not doing well.
Refress the concepts again on those and try another mock test.
This is how I am doing, I could see good progress this way.
BTW practically writing code is more important way understanding things.
All the best.

Hello Lakshmi,
Today I had booked for SCJP 1.4 on dec.26th(BOXING DAY). I have just started with K & B book. how many hours you spend daily for preparation for SCJP exam ?. I had planned to read a chapter in K & B and take up their self-test and goto DAN's site and take up the corresponding topic's test.
What else could be done during my preps. ?
Any help is appreciated!!

Hi taurean,
I am planning to spend 5 hrs /day. I hope I can finish K and B book by Nov8th and Nov 18th after which I hope I can take mock up exams with confidence.
It is better if you frame a time table(have a list of topics to be studied, list of mockup tests to be taken along with date and time) and post it in front of your computer so that you dont miss anything.
Hope this helps you...
