Bolaji,
I am impressed that you are interested in certifying your Java skills. How long have you been programming in Java?

If you are in Abuja, check me out at NIIT abuja center at Plot 68 Ademola Adetokunbo crescent, Wuse II, Abuja for more details on the certification exam.

Meanwhile, check out for 'Complete Java 2 Certification Guide' by Philip Heller and co. from www.amazon.com or any bookshop near you.

All the best as you start an exciting career in Java technology.

We actually have a forum for Certifications. I think you would be better to post your question there. This forum is really for Game programming and nothing about certification.

Check out the forums below this one for a more appropriate forum.

Kathy and Bert's SCJP book is my only recommendation.

I have both books and both are good, but Bert & Cathy's has more meat and potatoes to it which you might need on some of the objectives.
