Hi,
I'm using the comm APi to read in data from my serial port...
Currently I'm just printing the data to the screen, but I'm looking to either store it in a file, or transfer it to a database...I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this sort of thing........
Thanks,
Alan

What you are talking about is basic I/O

Unless of course if you choose to write to a database. Then you need to use JDBC.
