I have a HTML which has GET method. User selects some parameters and that is passed to a java class in the form of tags in order to take that as a string and form an XML document and return to the user. The problem am facing is whenever i submit the request the url has all those tags which actually browser doesn't supports. Because of this am unable to get that url in my java class. Can anyone tell me any technic to make things right. The method has to be GET only. Is there any Java Script or any other technique to encode these kind of characters in the url string.

Use the encodeURI() or esacpe function in Javascript to encode the URL.
