When should we override these two methods in JSP ?

One reason can be .. when we want a member to be available throughout the lifetime of the generated servlet.

Is there are other reasons also ?

Thanks

these two method is the same with init() & destory() in servlet spec, I'm not sure if it works that add them in jsp files, you can run a test for it, but the defination and usage should be the same, so just google "servlet init destory" then you can get what you want.
