I have the following JDBC program but when i run it it says Exception in "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: db
What does it mean?

It means it cannnot find the class definition for that class. Try to do a search in the beginner forum for 'noClassDefFoundError' and you should get quite a few topics to help you out.
