Hi All,

I have recently got an offer from software Company of Mumbai as Software Engineer. They are offering 4L with 25% Variable of my salary. I am having 2.4 years of experience in a CMM Level 5 Company and skills I am offering are J2EE(Core Java, Spring framework, Websphere application server) and J2ME, also having good domain knowledge of Information security.

I wanted to know salary package I am getting is as per the industry standards or not considering skill sets I have.

Thanks in Advance

"Rockcb",

Welcome to JavaRanch. Please look carefully at the official naming policy at Javaranch & reregister yourself with a proper first & last name, with a space between them. Initials may be used for a first name, but not a last name. Please adhere to official naming policy & help maintain the decorum of the forum. The naming policy can be found at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp. You can change your name here.

That means 5L PA. That's good package.

5 L PA or 25% is variable in 4 L. Let me clear first
