I am in the stages of writing a Swing UI that will be launched through Java Web Start. Not clearly understanding the limitations of Java Web Start, i was wondering if there was a way to persist the x,y,width, height of the JFrame. So that if the user went back into that UI screen, it would retain the previous x,y,width, height.
If so, can you give a brief overview of the framework, in terms of how did you persist the data. I could always hit the DB on the exit of the UI screen to write the Rectangle (encapsulates the x,y,width, height) but i'd like to keep that information on the client computer.
Thanks in advanced

btw.. sorry, this should have been posted in Web Start..
PersistenceService is the service that can be used to store application state on the client.`

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
