I have some code that runs great on windows but when I try it on Linux (RH7.0) I get an EmptyStackException. Can anyone help?
Following is some snippets from the offending code.
here's where I instantiate the dialog. . . . case 14: if (mode<4) { String message=action.substring(action.indexOf("message=")+9,action.lastIndexOf("\"")); panels.add(new ShowMessage(this,message)); } else { panels.add(new BasePanel(this)); } break; . . . here's the constructor of the class that this calls public ShowMessage(Frame parent, String message) { super(parent); header.setText("Important Message"); qi=(QuickiInstall)parent; /*Set up the GUI of this dialog ... */ } here's the dialogs parent class public class BasePanel extends JDialog implements ActionListener { public BasePanel() { } public BasePanel(Frame parent) { super(parent,true); qi=(QuickiInstall)parent; pwidth=Integer.parseInt(qi.resolveVariables("${PanelSizeX}")); pheight=Integer.parseInt(qi.resolveVariables("${PanelSizeY}")); setSize(pwidth,pheight); setResizable(false); setDefaultCloseOperation(DO_NOTHING_ON_CLOSE); /*More Setup code goes here . . . */ } public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent aevt) { buttonPressed=aevt.getActionCommand(); hide(); } }
What am I doing wrong?
