Hi, I have an
applet that tries to communicate to a
servlet's GET. The applet has a method
public InputStream sendGetMessage(Properties args) throws IOException {
String argString = "";
if (args != null) {
argString = "?" + toEncodedString(args);
}
URL url = new URL(servlet.toExternalForm() + argString);
// Turn off caching
URLConnection con = url.openConnection();
con.setUseCaches(false);
// Send headers
sendHeaders(con);
return con.getInputStream();
}
And the applet will get the InputStream from the above method and readLine() from it. Unfortunately, something is not right. Can someone that are well versed in http protocol help me figure out if the above method really indeed invokes the doGet method of the servlet designated?
