I was trying to start a java program from servlet. It did not work. I can invoke an application in a standalone application.
Anybody has any hint on this? Why can servlet not start an application?

Thank you.

I have been trying to start several processes from web browser using servlet.
I used runtime's exec method. No error is generated, but the processes are not started.
Thanks.
Wayne.
