can there ba more than one instance of servlet of a servlet at one time?

I want to know that can there be more than one instance of servlet class in the servlet container?if yes please give me an example

A container might create more than one instance if the servlet implements the SingleThreadModel interface. But that interface is deprecated and shouldn't be used any more, so this is kind of an academic example.
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
