Why is it that sometimes I can execute a jar file and I get all the line numbers to show in the stack trace and then other times I get Unknown Source?
for example
at java.io.FileInputStream.<init>(Unknown Source)

Possibly because the source that it came from is in JNI. I also get that when the source is a CORBA agent.

Other possible causes are missing debug informations because of
- usage of accompanied compiler options
- runtime optimizations done by the hotspot engine

What exactly is "usage of accompanied compiler options"?
How do we workaround this to start getting a sensible stack trace?
