Hi all,

Please anyone tell me the default password for admin on the Sun Application Server, I can't deploy my EJB program without knowing the password. I've tried "adminadmin" which I found on Sun's website, but it didn't work.

It's so annoying about this issue. It's like a secret that everyone should know, since the docs in JDK don't mention that. But it's more like a secret no one knows, for many people asked about it and no one replys.

Thanks in advance.

when you installed the server (j2ee sdk) you were prompted for the password and whether you want to keep the server protected. I suppose you can reinstall it and pay more attention this time around.

Hi Emanuel,

Thanks for the reply.

But what a pain to reinstall the SDK, are there any other ways to find out the password?

I thought there are must be some tool to reset or change the password after intallation. If we can only set the password once and no way to change it except reinstall, that's really ridiculous!

What would be ridiculous is a server that just let you "reset" the password without authentication.
