Like the commercial says -- there's quite a lot of room in the car. Last week I had to help a friend out when her car went in the shop. I can fit 2 adults, an infant seat and a toddler seat in my MINI (Or... 4 normal size adults... or 5 adults if you squish and its a short ride.)

I LOVE the Mini. But its way tooo expensive for me. Besides these things have been around for several years in the UK. The US market traditionally has never liked small cars, but looks like that is changing with all the anti-SUV stuff going on and efforts to cut off middle-east oil dependency.

My Grandma had one in the 70s. Her, me my sister and mum used to squeeze in and fill in all the gaps with shopping from Sainsburys.
The great thing about Minis is that if you can't find a parking space you can just attach it to your key ring and stick it in your pocket.

What anti-SUV stuff? I see more new H2s here in SFO bay area than I see new MINIs. I hear the manufacturers are working on more new SUV models than ever before. The most effective thing (in a free country) that can slow down the increase in the number of SUVs is lingering bad economy, not the oil price (which has been slowly going down since the end of Iraq 'war'). Who's for lingering bad economy? Not me (although I like MINIs).

according to yahoo!auto, mini is in fact a 2-door, 4-passenger family coupe, or sports coupe. so it may be small in outside appearance, but not in inside room.
