Hi Mr. Darwin thanks for dropping in .
The Java Cookbook is a comprehensive collection of problems, solutions, and practical examples for anyone programming in Java
A general observation about the book. Just as with cooking a meal , with programming there are different "recipies" to solve a problem.
Surely there is room for a "Java CookBook II" when you find better "recipies".

Hey thanks, I appreciate the time off! :-)

There will probably be a second edition which will update some recipes, maybe cull a few that nobody's bakin' with anymore, and of course add a few new ones. Can't add too many, as we're already at 800 pages + 50 pp of index, though. Ideas on what to add are welcome via email (my first name at darwinsys.com); thanks.

It won't happen immediately, though. Sorry I can't be any more definite.
