This is the first time I have posted to a forum for the purposes of winning a book. I love the other O'Reilly books I've seen, so I am sure I would love this one, even though it's a cookbook. Cooking has never been my thing. Is this simply a collection of samples of code for performing different tasks, or ways to solve different problems in
Java programs? Would a true beginner to programming be able to make use of it? Are the recipes something even someone who is inept in the kitchen be able to make? Just curious, as I have not seen the book, but would love to build my library of one book on Java which I own, and several library books which I have monopolised for about 9 months, so I feel like I own them. I am waiting for my latest Cattle Drive assignment to be nitpicked, so I don't have any programming issues today.
