I'd take a wild guess that it's "good try, but no".

Hi,
I passed finally.
I had described the solutio in greater details but diagrams were not showing details of all that I described as per UML specs. But looks like what I sent was adequate. The Examm content is very good.

I didn't get any mail. History in the I7 database says that I have passed Essay Exam 310-062. However there is no history of the second part of the exam.

I hope I am passed.

Hi SCEA 5.0 Certified Guys and Failed Guys

Im posting the my reply to Filvio who post his result in SCEA Group.

Dear Falvio,

First of all I wish you from bottom of my heart saying "My Congratulation!"

If its not a matter to you I like know about your score.

You will be the most voluble resource person to this group. So far you are the only SCEA 5.0 Certified Archi for this group. So your help is very important to the group this movement.

As a starting point I kindly request you to post about the experience for preparing to the exam.

Also I kindly request this as well. Please don't leave the group after posting your results. I know many people leave the current group after getting Certified. That might be because of starting studies for next exam. I'm very glad if you can be here at least once a week.

Thanks

Good Luck to your future

In that time I supposed he is the only SCEA 5.0 for the group. But after vising this thread I realized that 100 of people have passed the exam.

So all of your (Both passed and failed) experiance is very important to the people who are preparing for SCEA 5.0.

I have stared a thread for this

Please post your exp in there

Thanks

Chamida

That is a sound argument, and the upgrade is probably the same as part 1. But I doubt you'll get any one at Sun to acknowledge that, let alone certify you as SCEA5 based on that argument.

no emails from Sun and on the Prometric History the exam is still "Tested". I guess that for the moment the results are only in the Sun DB, but I think we can trust it ;-)

Here is my status:
SCEA5 certified at

https://i7lp.integral7.com/durango/do/login?ownername=sun&channel=sun&basechannel=prometric
Part 1 of SCEA5 passed at https://www.certmanager.net/sun_assignment

no email from Prometric

Is it a similar issue with gmail as we had before during assignment?

Congrats to the people who passed and good luck to those who were not able to make it this time.
I would like to thank Javaranch and the people associated with it and with SCEA5 eaxm as this helped a lot in preparing for the exam.Last but not the least i would like to thank SUN for giving me the opportunity to participate in this exam.

who knows if there's a database in somewhere in which you can query how many developers are certified in SCJP, SCBCD, SCEA, etc? will be great to know that.

Hey Chamidam thank you for your kind note my friend. Its an honored to be considered an important part of this comunity. Dont worry... I won't disappear. Regarding the materials I've used to study for SCEA, here is a list of the materials I've used:

Head First Design pattern - Marks Cade's book.
Head First Web Components - Marks Cade's book. just a look since I am already a SCWCD
Pro EJB 3: Java Persistence API - dont know the author's name.
SCEA study guide - Marks Cade's book
Research on the internet.

I'll post more later on...

Best regards to all.

Sorry to hear that.

Well, you'll be required to attempt part 2 and part 3 both (or may be all 3). Only part 3 is not an option as you got combined result of part 2 (project) and part 3 (essay).

Please confirm with Sun.

All the very best.
