Hi All,

Welcome 2005.............

Here Goes the 2004,
With all it had for us, off the shore.

Here Lands 2005,
With all our hopes, high above the sky.

We had smiles, we had pains,
We had friends, we had frowns,

We had moments that we cherished,
We had times, when our hearts perished.

We had ups, We had downs,
Like heaps of sand on desert grounds.

We walked the way,We walked the way,
Hoping to grab the horizon, one day....

Our journey goes on and on....
With rays of Hope, flashing upon.

One more year, we have walked across,
With a mix of reality, that went pass.

Now we welcome the New Year, Jubilant,
In our minds, and souls, we are still vibrant.

We shall, this time seek the light,
Hoping to get that, to brighten our sight,

We shall this time, seek peace,
Hoping the world, is one, in a piece.

We shall this time, seek Love,
So that we all are one till we live.

We shall this time seek happiness,
Not to posess, but to share.

May all our Wishes be granted, May we be blessed by
God.

A Very, Very Happy and Prosperous New Year to You
All........

Cheers,
Swamy

Hi Chriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis!!!

what cute images! They are right out of my windows now!!! Thank you!

I went to bed at around 23:00 (Germen time), but was soon waken up and ... not strong enough to keep my body staying in my dorm....

The firework really cheers people up!!!

Happy new year Chris and Axel and all!

Best Wishes,
Ellen

You and I in a little toy shop
Buy a bag of balloons with the money we've got.
Set them free at the break of dawn
'Til one by one, they were gone.
Back at base, bugs in the Software
Flash the message, Something's out there.
Floating in the summer sky.
99 red balloons go by.
99 red balloons.
floating in the summer sky.
Panic bells, it's red alert.
There's something here from somewhere else.
The war machine springs to life.
Opens up one eager eye.
Focusing it on the sky.
Where 99 red balloons go by.
99 Decision Street.
99 ministers meet.
To worry, worry, super-scurry.
Call the troops out in a hurry.
This is what we've waited for.
This is it boys, this is war.
The president is on the line
As 99 red balloons go by.
99 Knights of the air
Ride super-high-tech jet fighters
Everyone's a superhero.
Everyone's a Captain Kirk.
With orders to identify.
To clarify and classify.
Scramble in the summer sky.
As 99 red balloons go by.
99 dreams I have had.
In every one a red balloon.
It's all over and I'm standing pretty.
Bla bla bla bla bla bla blan
bla bla bla bla abla bla bla
bla bla bla bla bla schtizer!

two years back... Just realised I've been here for over two years...

Chris, is what Gerald posted something like "99 Luftbalon" by Nina (or Nena? Forgot) which was popular 20 years ago?

Sorry the Fleischkse...I heated it up according to your instruction but my house mate's dog ate it up while I was waiting for its cooling down, really! I've complained to my house mate already...next time, until I learnt how to cook something other than junk food, you'll be invited.

Yes. Sadly he went with the English version rather than the original. (You may enjoy this.) I remember hearing both versions on US radio stations.

@ Ellen Zhao:
Yes, it's the english version of nena's song which was very popular (the german that is) in the 80's.
