Looking for good movie titles.

Here are some recent ones I would suggest:

"Since Otar Left" (Foreign)
"Kingdom of Heaven"
"Crash" (2004)

I heard lot of good reviews about "National treasure", but I didn't find it that great.

Do you watch any US-made movies?
What would you suggest?

It is not very easy to get indian movies, on the top of that it's not much fun reading subtitles.

Well 2005 hasnt been that good a year for Hollywood movies...95% of them were sequels / remakes of originals...very few good ones...I have lined up "Crash" in Netflix...recently watched "Waiting" - itz a slapstick /crude comedy abt what happens behind the scenes in a restaurant...irony was i watched with a bunch of my friends who run a pizza shop!!

Am yet to watch "Two for the money" - am an avid Al Pacino fan..so wud b seeing it this weekend!

Downfall is listed under its German name Untergang, Der

Downfall is cinematography at its best.

Here is one more movie that was suggested by my friend:

http://imdb.com/title/tt0117040/

but, sadly, it is not available in our local blockbusters.

We also rented house of Wax (haven't seen yet)

Horror movies are not my favorite ones, but I think The Village (it is not considered horror, but scary enough for me ) and Hide and Seek were fine.

The best I saw in recent times:

1. Hotel Rwanda:
I have no idea how 'million dollar baby' won so many awards at the expense of this masterpiece. Don Cheadle was awesome in this.

2. Motor Cycle Diaries:
Felt great watching this film.

3. Das boot:
One of the best military movies I have ever seen.

4. Black:
Just for the phenominal performace of Amitabh Bachchan.

5. Batman Begins:
Only Hollywood main stream film with merit this year.

6. Crash:
For the way screen play was done( don't want to give any special credit for other aspects in this movie though)

funny, haven't seen any of these.. something to add to my list.

By the way, have seen the House of Wax.. Didn't like it. I like scary movies with some twist in them, like "the others", "sixth sence" etc. This one was more disgusting than anything else
