Accessing Remote EJB 3: Best Practice

Hi Guys,

I would like to refactor the code snippet below in accessing a remote ejb;

Properties props = new Properties();
props.setProperty("java.naming.factory.initial", "com.sun.enterprise.naming.SerialInitContextFactory");
props.setProperty("java.naming.factory.url.pkgs", "com.sun.enterprise.naming");
props.setProperty("java.naming.factory.state", "com.sun.corba.ee.impl.presentation.rmi.JNDIStateFactoryImpl");

// optional.  Defaults to localhost.  Only needed if web server is running
// on a different host than the appserver   
props.setProperty("org.omg.CORBA.ORBInitialHost", "<ip_address>");

InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext(props);
SimpleBean bean = (SimpleBean) ctx.lookup("ejb/SimpleBeanJNDI");

I’d read this link https://glassfish.dev.java.net/javaee5/ejb/EJB_FAQ.html, I would like to kindly get your personal opinion/experience in doing these.

Are there are some best way/best practices in doing this?
