From my perspective, without knowing who he was, all I see is a very confused looking man who hasn't listened to the stage director, standing in the wrong place. One wonders if he's suffering from Alzheimer's disease, or perhaps is terrified at being in front of a crowd, or is having a stroke. Because it's obvious that he has no idea what to do or where he should be, the Australian team has to guide him.
"You are all blowing this out of proportion. It is true that all the Australian players had crowded the stage and that I felt a jolt.
"But that wasn't intentional. I have seen the footage myself. There is nothing to all this," said Sharad Pawar, BCCI President."

I have no opinion on Sharad Pawar, but as an Indian I feel damn insulted. Corrupted or not, he represents BCCI and don't forget he was once the cheif minister of Maharashtra and defence minister of India if I am correct.
And only due to it's financial poweress, it's THE board which "unoffically" dicdates most of the proceedings in world cricket(along with other asian cricket nation). Not surprisinly, with-in hours of that happening CA has declared investigation in this issue.

And who passed the judgement that sharad pawar was corrupt...? or even the fact that aussies were teaching him any lesson, were they standing for some election or something on the stage...?
Is that the way to behave, there is something called as decency which I guess sometimes visiting teams lack and at time like this, I miss ganguly who had the gumption to do the t-shirt waving act in lords....

Such is it's finacial status that it can easily have 20 CA (Cricket Australia) under it's belt. Enough funds to run game on it's own even if they break away from ICC (International Cricket Commitee). Aussies not knowing the President of BCCI is equivalent to you (or I) not knowing our respective company's CEO.

And "corruption" is not even the point in here... by that token everytime we cross a politician on street[not that it will happen] we should be trying to put a limb out and make them stumble

That implied that the Indian companies are making favours to the Australian players by letting them do the ads promos etc, without expecting any benefit in return.
In my general understanding, companies prefer to sign up with players, for their ads, whoose popularity can be a benefit to the company. Sure, they do pay huge benefits, but that's based on a carefully evaluated cost benefit analysis.
So Pradip, would you care to elaborate what did you imply when you said the Aussies forgot that they are making money by doing ads and promos.
Thanks,
