How to check browser alive

Hi all,

I want to check my user is still using the application or not, for every X minutes somehow.

I can catch when he logs out if he logout properly by clicking log out link. But I can not check if close the browser.

Can anybody suggest the solution to check this?

There is no way to determine if the user closes the browser. You really should be using a session timeout on the server to log the user out.
