ant making extra folder for me

i wrote a ant script for compile all java classes in src/test and paste them to the src/classes folder.


it is doing all things.but it is making another directory test at classes directory.
why is that .where is the error?

The problem is that you set srcdir incorrectly - you set it to the test directory, which is causing that directory to be created. In addition, for this simple example you do not need to set classpath - the compiler assumes that your source directory is in the classpath. Thus the javac task should read:
