They say BPEL is an web service orchestration language. Take a look at this articly:

The above mentioned link says BPEL is choreography language. BPEL is choreography or orchestration language ?

Quote from the Wikipedia page:
BPEL is an Orchestration language, not a choreography language (see Web Service Choreography).
Do a search for "choreography language" - there is only one occurrence.
