Yes .. hmm.. you are right.. but well I would say it covers more than 90% of the syllabus.
Not sure how much information can I or am I allowed to put here, but few topics are not elaborate.
1) JSTL Core tags - eg: c:tokens - a note is written in the book to learn it as part of "homework"..
2) JSTL Core tags- say c:import etc.. not all attributes are covered in the book., so we might have a glance on the apis to see the attributes supported, which are request time etc..
3) Design
Patterns - well this is covered in the book , but not sure I could not perform well in this section might be I was not intuitive enough to crack the questions from what I read in the book.
4) HttpServletRequest/Response apis -again, it would be better to browse the apis once to have a feel of few methods that are used in our day -to-day coding but not covered in the books..
