Hi folks...

I am in a confused state. I started studying for SCJP 1.5 sometime back, I have covered the syllabus, but I need more preparation. Furthermore due to work and personal commitments my preparation has been sketchy. From next month onwards I will start focusing on the exam and will be able to devote serious time to it. It's almost going to be like re-starting...hence I am wondering, should I drop studying for the 1.5 exam and instead focous on the 1.6 exam? Hope someone can advise. Thanks.

I just started to study for SCJP and one of the books I read ("SCJP Sun® Certified Programmer for Java™ 6Study Guide") says this,

"other than the addition of the System.Console class and Navigable collections, the Java 5 and Java 6 exams are
identical in scope. We recommend that you take the Java 6 exam and not the Java 5 exam"

Aim for SCJP 6, as there is not much difference between SCJP 5 and 6 version. So appear for the latest one.
