Hi ,

I have a Java project in eclipse with src files and lib jar files.I want to convert this entire package to jar file which is to be run on a remote server.

The eclipse project is an application with main() method

I want to create the jar file in such a way that when this jar is called via cmd prompt, the main method class is called which invokes the rest of the applications.

Can someone please help me with this as I have no previous experience of creating jar files.

Thanks

Moieen

The jar file needs to have a manifest with a Main-Class entry: http://faq.javaranch.com/java/JarFiles

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
