Hi All,
I had a requirement to morph CreditCard information present in a legacy Database for last 14 years.

I tried to do it in java and have written following code for that.
based upon updatable resultset.
But its performance is very poor.



Class DB Access looks like



Can somebody please tell some optimization in it without writing a stored procedure.......

And even above rs.updateString() method throws an obvious exception Internal (Error: Unable to construct a Datum from the specified input) when operating with clob.
So can anyone please tell that how to create a clob object to pass to rs.updateClob(1,txtClob)....
