Hi

I am totally new to Spring webFlow and started learning it for work.
I have checked out a existing project from repository in my STS 2.3 which includes SWF usage and i realize that
when i open flow-defintion xml file , it opens as plain xml .
If i right click , i dont see any any graphical editor attached to it or option available to open in
diagram form.
But if i create new flow in project and rt-click , i can see the option
'Open graphical editor'. I want to understand why is this difference.

I was assuming STS extracts meta data from xml file and creates diagrams on its own (something like rational rose)
But after struggling for hours and hours of installation/re-installation, i reached some assumptions and turned to this forum.

So could it be something like this -
When those exisitng flows(old ones i checked out) were created , those were handwritten xmls and not created using graphical editor so it doesnt have ny graphicalinformation or meta data attached to it.

but when i create new fom scratch,STS creates visual data for it.

Please help me kno what the truth is.

Thanks
