should i use netbeans "clean and build option" ?

i have completed my first official project in java ,
but i have to complete the deployment stuff for that i need to make a jar file
so i want some expert advice
my applications has lot of images for buttons and all..
and i have used many 3rd party libraries also
so should i use netbeans "clean and build option" or should i make jar manually by reading java's jar documentation ?

If you already have the project in NetBeans, it is easier to get NetBeans to create the .jar.
