Are you veg or non-veg? Are you veg/non-veg by tradition or by choice? I am veg by tradition.

I think there are many people who were veg/non-veg and became non-veg/veg because of one or other reason. Can you guys share why did you change your diet?

Actually my friend in S.Korea recently posted lots of local delicacy pictures and that got me thinking that why should I not try all of that? breaking family tradition? Of course I can try non-veg food but just want to have second opinion by this discussion.

I'm not sure I understand the whole vegan thing. Only way to truly be vegan is to remove your self from civilization all together.

Actually, I am not vegan. I am vegetarian. I think vegan can not even have animal products like milk products. And I love milk.

But I am not able convince myself (crossing that threshold) that there is nothing wrong in being non-veg.

I keep many strict religious dietary restrictions, but that does not include vegetarianism.
That said, in our house we typically eat meat (chicken) only once a week.

Lots of dairy, though.
