I didn't get your question. It sounds like "tell me a 'good' author for Harry Potter books"

Well, there's only one author for Thinking in Java book (Bruce Eckel). The latest version - you can find it on any online bookstore like Amazon.com

I hope this helps.

If you search for Thinking in Java then there are many books available with the same name. He wanted to know the name of the author whose Book is famous and as you told it is Bruce Eckel.

No need to say sorry!! I didn't meant to make you feel sorry. Just wanted you to know that there are other TiJs as well but the best is by Bruce Eckel (rather I should say I have read only that book )
