I want to know where I can submit my software for awards. There are 2 really good sites I know that who give awards to software after carefully testing those, and I need to know more. And, I am not talking about places which gives awards only to freeware. I am talking about places which submission of demo and trial versions also allowed.

for an example think about a desktop java application, which works on all pc platforms. It is not created for a specific person, available to download from download sites. And, it is a payware, you have to pay and get the original one. Demo version is available in download sites.

Please help

If you don't mind me asking what is the purpose of a site that gives you an award for your software?

Are you trying to get your software certified some how? I don't really understand what the objective is.

Yes. But I need to get certified, only if the software is good according to their vision. There are very few sites which actually checks the software, and rate it/award it. Luckily, I know 2 of them.

What are those two sites? Maybe if we saw the kind of thing you are looking for, we'd have a better idea. And to be honest, I'm surprised there is even ONE such site.

There are. For an example, softpedia. Their "Editor's Pick" is a hard to get one.

Sarcasm aside -- IMO, many of these "editor picks" are just a way for a magazine to help their sponsors. And given the amount of blogs out there, this is magnified many fold. I am not saying that there may be altruistic services out there -- but given the loud noise with large marketing dollars, I would be hesitent to believe any such service.
