Guys,

I'm currently trying to secure my AMQ broker. I'm referring to the ActiveMQ documentation. There is a configuration element defined in the xml, but I fail to understand the meaning of it. Unfortunately there is not enough documentation on it. Below is the snippet:

What does the USERS. and GUEST. mean? Ok if they are the queues, then what is the . after USERS and GUEST? Why do we need that dot? Is it something like a wildcard? From the above xml, I understand that there are 3 users namely admin, guest and user. But how should I interpret which users have read / write access? Can anyone here help me?
