dear, i have XML , and i m doing the work on reading Certificate any body please tell me can i change the URI of the below of XML

Like "http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-xml-c14n-20010315" with "xyz".
"http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#rsa-sha1" with "abc" it will effect the XML or not.
Bcz this XML , i m storing in databsase so its making long varchar i want to reduce the size.

Yes, if you change the document in that way you will affect it. In other words, you will change its meaning.

I don't understand the problem. Just because you are storing it in a long varchar database column, that doesn't mean you have to reduce its size.
