hi,

can anybody(preferably from india) tell me if mnc's would consider experience in an IT Services start up as a java developer (as the first job) valuable?

i have come across statements that working in a huge brand would give easier opportunities for future jobs.

all opinions are welcome.

1) Why not? Is that not real experience?
2) Can you share your source?
In my opinion it is always better to work for a company with a start up culture. No fixed hours, lots of scope to learn and contribute, immense job satisfaction. But of course one needs to yearn for this. MNCs, at best, can offer you better job security (as compared to a startup) and so called brand value in the market.

whether it is start up or well developed, in terms of experience it's all about you IMO.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
