Better to start off from that...or

You can buy a book like Tapestry in Action....and start

Pls do not buy Tapestry in Action; it is based on T3; rather look for Enjoying web development with Tapestry

These are the first 4 chapters in "Enjoying Web Development with Tapestry" by Ka Iok Tong (Book).

You will find it more interesting and easy.

after going through the chapters, it is better to get this book. Don't go for Tapestry in Action if you are a beginner.
