Would like to know the job scope for 4+ years in java 1 year hadoop programmer in switzerland or Germany.

Looking forward for valuable guidance.

Vijay, as you have also just posted a question about learning Hadoop as a newbie, I'm guessing you don't actually have one year's experience of Hadoop yet. But if you are determined to work in Switzerland or Germany, you might be better off learning some German, which might open more doors than a few months of Hadoop (or GIS).

Hi,

I am trying to improve my german on day to day basis.
Basically what i was trying to explore is , what are my chances to find hadoop job with 1 year hadoop experience.

Is that skill in demand.

Well, you could look on the various job boards e.g. http://www.jobserve.com has some German jobs. There is also a German Hadoop/Big Data group on LinkedIn. If you want to sell your skills in Germany, you might also want to register a profile on http://www.xing.com which is like LinkedIn but seems to be popular in the German-speaking countries.
