I have a total of 3 Years of experience in J2EE Development (Struts,EJB & Hibernate). I have not done any certifications so far.I am currently in process of being a project designer and working in Chordiant Framework. Please suggest which certification can I go with ?

OCJP or JEE Architect or anyother ? Kindly suggest.

Thanks.

You can only try Architect once you have the OCPJP certificate. Even so, it's a good idea to get Expert in Web Components or EJB or JPA before going for Architect.

No. Architect is the only Java Cert that doesn't require you to take the OCPJP.

That said, I think three years is enough Java experience to take the OCMJEA.

Why do you want to pursue a certification? Doesn't your experience stand alone?

Agreed. But sometimes Certification is requested during Role Switch and Job switchover. So I want to keep myself prepared for that and I want to expertise in some specific area with a proof.
