I just watched John Stewart's final episode. I liked that so many people came back. I liked the backstage tour and the "types of bullshit" segment.

I think I liked it more than Letterman's finale because I watched Stewart more often. Also, both shows ran long. I didn't record extra on the DVR for Letterman so had to go online to grab the end. I recorded the entire next show after Stewarts so it was easier to see the actual end.

Do you like your Twinkies plain, or strawberry filling I like the backstage stuff too though. So different from the illusion. Performance is casting a spell and everybody has their job. One time there was a line in front of the Letterman studio and I decided to see if I could get a ticket. Somebody in line said they'd been asking questions and you could win a ticket. I asked a doorman and he said see that guy ask him and tell him I sent you. I recognized the doorman from his being on the show a few times. I forget his name. So I got in. An usher said if I didn't start smiling they'd make me sit upstairs! She was serious. What I like most was they ran through it with no cuts or edits except live ones, like any other professionals who just wanted to get the job done and go home
