I have installed tomcat 4.1.31 on my WindowsXP. I browse Tomcat home page: http://127.0.0.1:8080/index.jsp, and then click Tomcat Administration. It goes to http://127.0.0.1:8080/admin/login.jsp. What's the username and password to this page?
I believe by default the role of "Admin" and/or "Manager" is not setup, this is something you will have to do, by adding an 'admin' user and defining your own username and password. This is done by modifying the $CATALINA_HOME/conf/tomcat-users.xml file.

There aren't may rules that have been put into place here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.
In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.
