I am using the j_security_check feature of Jrun to perform form based authentication for a web application. By default the session time is 30 mins. I would like to know if this default setting can be changed.

Did you try a google search?

First google hit suggested:

Session information is configured in either the web.xml or jrun-web.xml. It appears that what you want to do is in the web.xml file. See {jrun-root}\docs\descriptordocs\index.html and select the web.xml link. Then look at the session-config section.
