Please be aware that Amazon *might* be having problems that *could* cause you to order an older edition of a book than you intend. (note: extreme ass-covering in progress.) I urge all book buyers to make sure that they are in fact ordering the latest edition when placing online orders.

E.g., as of today, if you enter "Head First Java" as a title search, you will get the 1st edition. If you then try a search on either author, the list of books will not include the 2nd edition. You must enter "Head First Java, 2nd Edition", or better yet the ISBN: 0596009208.

Amazon's search engine usually works well, but occasionally cannot find things. For computer books try bookpool.com; up-to-date inventory, great prices. On Martha's Vineyard, MA, so shipping to west coast my take longer and/or cost more; but S&H costs are also lower than most.
