Hi.
I was reading about Prototype PeriodicalUpdater decay attribute and I came accross this example :

Why the decay's value decreased ?
And if no change happend to the response, why the next decay values are : 4, 8, 16 ?

The default value of decay is set to be 2 , after the call#1 executed, it became 1.
And after the call#6 executed it became 1 again.
The page says :
"Note that, as soon as the response text does change, the current period resets to the original one."
Well, isn't the original value is 2 ?
