I am allergic to beer.
My boyfriend thinks that this is one of the worst things that could happen to me. He's a Stella Artois man though!

What's all this talk of lager for? That's not beer! What you really want is an ale, none of that fizzy clear stuff.

What no Lucky Lager? Seriously though, the ones I've even heard of on Rajah's list are some of the worst on the planet. Budweiser, Miller, Corona, Fosters, Heinekken? It's an international beer hall of shame. It reminds me ... as so many things do these days ... of a story:

The three major American beer makers, Budweiser, Coors, and Miller sent out samples to the lab for quality assessment. Three weeks later the results came back: All three horses have diabetes!

Blackened Voodoo Beer, Dixie Brewing Company. Haven't been able to get it for the last 10 years or so. Bummer.

Toured the Miller Brewery in Milwaulkee a couple summers back. They had some surprisingly good smaller brands in their tasting area.

There's a Budweiser plant just more than a mile from my house. Every once in a while the southern wind blows the scents our way. It doesn't smell like beer, though. More like dog food.

It's very rare that I drink beer, but when I do, it's James Page Iron Range Amber Lager.

Sorry Rajah, but Miller gives me a proper headache - no, not the next morning, within minutes of drinking it!!

I wouldn't consider myself someone who really enjoy their beer, so as you can imagine, I haven't tried too many (Heineken, Budweiser, Tennessee, Smithwicks, Miller, Coors lite, Carlsberg, Stella Artois, Guinness etc) and lately I only drink Erdinger (weiss beer, German I think). Compares to others it has a really nice taste (probably because its easy to get used to, compared to, say, Guinness!! )

Ever wondered how many brands of beers out there? Here's list and it doesn't
