Maybe it's Jason where you live, but where I live it's April.

For fans of the sesquipedalian, the fear of Friday the Thirteenth is called triskaidekafriggaphobia (or sometimes friggatriskaidekaphobia), from the Greek "three and ten", and Frigga the Norse goddess for whom, supposedly, Friday is named. Originally the word meant fear of thirteen Friggas, and was based on one of Odin's more vivid nightmares.

Oddly enough, on my way back from lunch I looked down at the sidewalk and saw an etched heart, with the words April & Jason inscribed in it, so both Paul and Hussein are right as far as San Diego goes.

Hussein, just to make sure I haven't confused you, the first sentence in my last post was true, while the second was intended as "humor", something I've been working very hard to develop in myself, but so far without any noticeable progress.

The legend lives on in the place name "Trettanfriggasnes" which is a sandy cape just north of Stavanger in Norway.

There's a form of humour in which people say absurd things with a straight face in the hope that other people will believe them. I don't know what that form of humour is called but you can see examples of it on YouTube, just search for Rick Mercer or Talking To Americans.

So, you're saying I should get on a sitcom or two, and then maybe gain 100 lbs? It's worth a shot!

Arrggghh, and yesterday, Friday the 13th happened on Friday.
This is, of course, a lot better than when Friday the 13th happens to fall on a Monday, thereby bringing bad luck and all other 13th stuff each day of the week.
