If I want to write the same line using out.println, I end up with this
I don't understand how the quotes and slashes are interpreted by the compiler to come up with the same output. What is the rule on the the slashes? Anybody understand my question? rick [ May 25, 2002: Message edited by: Rick Prevett ]
Man , let me wipe my eyes... Angela, okay, those...were.....great. I'm always looking for 'walks into a bar' jokes. So the termite walks into the bar and says 'Is the bar tender here?' [ May 12, 2002: Message edited by: Rick Prevett ]
If asked, answer truthfully, but never, ever voluneteer such information. It may be good for you, but bad for her, which is not good for you, which is bad for her, etc... See, it's all downhill.
I'm currently doing the the Cattle Drive here at the JavaRanch. In order to complete the Servlet assignments there, they recommend the Orion server. See the CattleDrive / Servlet Assignment 1. I was able to pull it down and install it with no problems (just follow the directions). Runs great for local testing of servlets for me. rick
