Have anyone heard about this certification from Sun
Sun Certified Java CAPS Integrator (CX-310-502)

How good is it?

Recently completed my SCEA/OCMJEA certification, and this question has been looming large in my head since then, what after SCEA?
So i wanted to post this question on this forum to get ideas from the guys who have also completed SCEA. Personally i am not interested in any other technical certification and want to concentrate on something related to domain like a CFA certification as i am working in investment banking industry. As for becoming a true Enterprise Architect one got to align with the domain.
Would like to hear from other people.

Thanks Ashutosh,

I gave part 3 on 1March and mailed my assignment the same today, and got the result today. I downloaded my assignment in Feb 1 week, so it took me less than a months time to finish off both.
As per preparation goes, i have very good on job experience of designing applications based on java, j2ee platform so that was a big help, apart from that Cade's book was big help.

In other news i checked sun certification database, and it only shows my status as passed but doesnt show the scores. Can anyone tell how can i get my scores.

Hip Hip Hurray,

Received mail from Oracle today that i have passed Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect certification. Now i am among the elite 1%(as per Oracle) of certified Java Enterprise Architect. Thanks all here for your help and guidance.
Mail doesnt show the scores though.

@Jari - I took part3 on the same day i submitted my assignment
@Jeanne - I got the acknowledgement mail for my submittion

Hi guys,
Its been a week since i submitted my assignment, i know it takes around a month's time(as per mail from Oracle) to get the result, but its getting difficult to wait. Just wanted to ask other folks about how long they have to wait for getting the assignment grades.

Thanks in advance,
Ajay

Gave part3 today, surprised to get a sore card showing zero despite answering all the questions in detail, is it usual and i will get the final score after mailing my assignment? I am going to mail my assignment today.

[question about whether an assumption is valid]

Sorry - we don't discuss details about real questions in this forum. -Jeanne
Apart from not being able to scale well, if you have set up a cluster for scaling out then replication of SFSB has more overhead associated with it then replication of http session.

I would say that here Reliability seems more analogues to app availability as compared with data consistency and reliability.

Class diagram in the cade's book shows jsp's and Java EE stereotypes, i was just wondering weather this is the right approach, its kind of coupling technology choice with domain model. What do you guys think?

Thanks,

Thanks for the observation.

I would say that if you have multiple server instances and each one is serving requests concurrently then it will increase you scalability, this is more like a active active model but if some of those instances are just acting as stand by (with accurate state) and ready to take over in case of a node failure then this will increase your reliability, this is more like an active warm model. But there is a thin line of difference between two as scaling up will kind of improve both scalability and reliability/availability.

Thanks,
Ajay
