Welcome! At what scale would using a Docker container start to pay off in an AWS environment? I have several other questions but will stick to the forum rules. Thanks for dropping by. - Tom

I am new to AI. Is this a good place to start? If not, can you recommend good starting sources to augment this book?
I have Google Cloud Account, AWS. I have dabbled with the skills.
I'll check other answers for the practical uses so I don't go over my one allowable question.
Thanks -

In a previous post you mentioned 'safe' programming. Do you have any specific reccomendations?
Thanks, Tom
Does your book have a unique emphasis? Are some things covered better here than in others? Thanks
Thomas
What advanced subject in the book should a programmer have mastered in Java in order to consider himself proficient in the language?

Thanks, the best way is probably getting my hands dirty to see what it makes easier.
Thanks !

Craig,
I wrote a solution for a web-based inventory system in Java for a job interview and it came back that I did it the "old-fashioned" way.  It worked and it was simple but I felt a little out of the loop. What has Spring provided that was lacking and/or what problem led to its creation?
I have encountered Dependency Injection in C# but in my opinion, it seemed to overcomplicate the code. If the complications clarify and work better I am in favor of it. Otherwise, my brain has enough memory leaks... :>
Thanks!

Which section is the trickiest and should be covered most thoroughly?
Thanks - Thoms Zink
I guess I am really asking the relationship of React and Angular/Typescript to ECMAScript. They translate to Javascript too. Thanks!
First of all thanks for the first three lessons in the book.  That little bit of history filled in holes that help me to understand the current landscape.
Scanning the rest I can see that it continues to explain new features.
I heard arguments for Angular vs React.  Does using Babel solve that debate or add another option?

There are so many languages already to keep up with, why another one? Java has so many features and has some reduced boilerplate options. Thanks!

That is practical. Thanks.

I browsed the book on Amazon.  It mentioned the JMH. "JMH is a Java harness for building, running, and analyzing nano/micro/milli/macro benchmarks written in Java and other languages targetting the JVM."
I consider myself a newbie.
Would you suggest this tool to be the first step to optimize existing code?
Thanks!

Welcome,
Did you incorporate anything you learned doing the Head First books?
